Description

The VAT Number Attribution Certificate is a document issued by the Revenue Agency that identifies the VAT number assigned to a subject, which may be a company, an individual firm or a freelancer.

There are two types of certificates: the stamped one and the plain paper one. Here are the differences:

• Stamp Certificate: This type of certificate has legal certification value. It is used for official purposes and guarantees the authenticity of the data.
• Certificate on plain paper: This certificate is for informational purposes only. It is issued on plain paper and has no legal validity.
